How does a former administrator for a "Fortune 500" company become a fashion and costume designer?
My passion has always been creating, and I have enjoyed making reproduction costumes from both movies as well as Historically accurate garments for over 20 years now. When I was laid off from my corporate job not too long ago, I suddenly found myself a stay at home mom. I wanted a career that would allow me to stay home with my boys, but also to do something creative. I decided to start up a business that offers couture quality garments inspired by the historical and movie designs I've loved and reproduced for years.
I am a one woman operation, and everything is hand-crafted by me. Do expect your custom creation to take some time. Still, it is well worth the wait. I only take a limited number of commissions throughout the year, so be sure and check with me early if you want order something special!

Kim assists me with my contracts and scheduling. She will from time to time be sending you correspondence, and pricing and availability information in my stead.
She is not a seamstress, but she does enjoy period fashion and helps keep me organized and on track with my contracts and schedule. Please make her feel welcome.
